Elaine "Wolfie" Kessinger always knew she wanted to clothe history interpreters. Theatre started her on that path.
Since 2006, she has been clothing history enthusiasts through her company Ivy Wolf Design Bespoke Historic Tailoring.
Through seminars, blogging, and style mentoring, she teaches others to apply theatre techniques to choose a wardrobe, material culture, and person that supports the story rather than becomes the story.
She enjoys historic foodways and delves into historic recipes. Her lemonade is a requested favorite in the re-created 28th Massachusetts VI, Co.B and her fruit vinegars have changed many an opinion on vingear drinks.

When not telling stubborn menfolk how to dress, she makes sure the pets of Reston and Herndon, Virginia have care when their humans are away.
